
Carl Nordstrom brings more than 25 years of IT experience to Vortex Consulting in his role as vice president of sales. His extensive professional history with SAP includes working on both the functional and technical sides of the technology platform. He has worked with partners and with SAP directly, developing an impressive catalog of work, including the management of full lifecycle projects.
Prior to joining our team, Carl had been collaborating with Vortex for more than 2 decades. He has a keen understanding of the high expectations, superior execution practices, and commitment to professionalism that our team adheres to every day. Carl is eager to support revenue growth efforts at Vortex after having watched our heightened success in recent years.
As a well-known member of the SAP community, Carl has been part of numerous achievements that have been recognized for excellence. He was a key player on the first partner team to debut a companion solution for RISE with SAP, within just 2 months of SAP’s launch. He then sold the first RISE with SAP solution on Google Cloud in North America and provided client account support for that go-live–also the first of its kind in North America.
Carl is a longtime and active ASUG member and has sales certifications in Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. He is a passionate advocate for IT leaders. A regular at major SAP sales events, he has a strong relationship with the SAP field sales team and is a trusted co-sell partner in that community.
Outside of the office, Carl enjoys working with youth organizations in the baseball community. (He played baseball professionally many years ago!) Carl spends downtime with his wife of more than 35 years and his 2 adult sons. When the weather is nice, you can expect to find him on the golf course.
