
In 2025, Vortex welcomed Kristin Taner to the team as our chief marketing officer. In this new role, Kristin is responsible for leading business development and strategic SAP partnership efforts as we approach our 30th anniversary and experience unprecedented corporate growth. As a seasoned c-suite marketing professional in the greater SAP landscape, Kristin has held marketing leadership roles in the SAP managed services and cloud hosting ecosystem for the past 15 years. Most recently, she served as CMO for a leading U.S.-based SAP managed services provider.
Kristin has a robust educational background. Early highlights include earning a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing, followed by a master’s degree in organizational leadership. She holds sales and marketing certifications from Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure, and prides herself on staying current in the latest SAP technologies and trends, including RISE with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, clean core strategy, BTP, cloud migration automation, and more.
Kristin boasts a strong presence in the SAP community and fiercely nurtures alliance partner relationships. Before joining Vortex, she collaborated with our team members on numerous business development campaigns. She is also a long-standing member of both ASUG and Women in Tech. She recently managed a marketing strategy for the first mid-market SAP consulting company to support SAP on Google Cloud, an effort which earned the team recognition as Google Cloud Partner of the Year for SAP in both 2022 and 2023.
In her free time, Kristin most enjoys spending quality time with her young son, husband, and dog. On weekends they can often be found outdoors–hiking, swimming, boating, and visiting the beach are among their favorite family activities.
