This summer Vortex proudly sponsored the CJB All Stars in the 12U baseball tournament at Cooperstown All Star Village. The All Stars joined the 72-team tournament in week 11 and won the “Fastest Double Play Challenge” in Cooperstown, NY (home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame!). It proved to be a wonderful experience for the kids and their families as they created lasting memories while enjoying America’s favorite pastime!

After many years of partnership, Vortex has signed a new contract to provide Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions to a large payroll and benefits services provider. In this role, we are supporting the integration of Oracle Cloud applications to on-premise Oracle EBS applications, supporting seamless data flow among Oracle ERP, third-party SaaS applications, and the client’s own applications.

A multi-year Oracle EBS launch for a global manufacturer is on track for 2024. A dedicated Vortex team is providing Oracle EBS SCM and Manufacturing consulting services in the lead-up to the large-scale EBS implementation. The high-impact project will go live at several manufacturing plants, bringing efficiency and optimized performance to our client’s organizational ERP setup.

After two years of providing IT project management services, the Vortex team has successfully transitioned its PM role to internal resources at our Midwest-based manufacturing client. We continue in a limited support role to ensure our client–a U.S. metals manufacturer–is positioned for seamless internal management of projects.

The Vortex team continues to prioritize building long-standing client relationships as we deliver hypercare support to our client on their post-launch of a greenfield D365 F&O solution. The Q1 2024 launch saw the large North American client move from a legacy system to a cloud ERP solution that is dynamic and will position them at the forefront of ERP technology for years to come.

Continuing a long-standing relationship that spans more than a decade, a major Vortex client has just renewed with a multi-year service contract. This multinational manufacturing company receives SAP staffing support with expertise across a number of SAP modules.

Consisting of more than 5,000 members, the nonprofit provides unequalled opportunities for networking, professional development, and outreach among senior-level IT professionals. Boston SIM is the largest and oldest SIM chapter.

Vortex Consulting is pleased to announce that we’ve expanded our network of sales offices with the addition of a new market in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Scott Young, who has been with Vortex since our early days, is leading the effort. Scott first came onboard in 2000 and just several years later led the expansion of our operations in Canada. With steady growth throughout the U.S. and Canada, Vortex continues to offer IT staffing and support in SAP and Oracle implementation, Cloud upgrades, and ongoing management.

Vortex Consulting is excited to announce the addition of Jamie Mausberg to our team. Jamie brings 25+ years of experience aligning technology services with business results. While his wheelhouse is SAP, Jamie has also led IS teams accountable for enterprise applications, reporting and analytics, and AWS cloud services for a Fortune 500 company. Jamie has held positions in the U.S., Canada, and overseas with consulting firms and in industry. Jamie joins Vortex as our senior director of SAP delivery and is based in Calgary, Canada.
